Catalunya History Museum  This museum treats the historical position of the Catalan regions. So it contains both today's country borders and the northern Catalonia which is part of France now.

It´s collection leads us into the Prähistorik from which the first human finds are on the Catalan ground. The human remains of the first 450,000 years old homo Erectus were found in Talteüll. The journey then goes on to the Iberians, romans etc., in the Bronze Age. The impressive archeological material from these periods is arranged terrifically and creates a good insight.
The exhibition also treats the influence of the Mediterranean as a connection to other culturs. The beginning of the king empire, late then the renaissance, the industrial revolution and the Modernismo - the Catalan Art Nouveau.
