One cannot imagine that somebody visited Barcelona and has not seen the Rambla. Barcelona's famous strolling mile is also a must see for you. The Rambla extends of the port up to the Placa Catalunya. She consists of several sections. So there is an area mainly with restaurants and Caffees, the Rambla de Flores, is garnished mainly with small flower stores in the middle (on weekdays) and finally still there is a last part which belongs to the sales stands with birds before you then can see the great Placa Catalunya.

Go to the Boqueria, the remarkable old market. Have a look at the Liceo the famous opera house and turn to the Placa Real which you can see aproximately at the center of the Rambla..
