The Sagrada Familia is the sight of Barcelona. The architect Antonio Gaudi has designed this church in the Catalan Art Nouveau, the Modernisme and supervised the making personally many years. 1882 became the making started and further lasts. The building costs are financed ally from donations, perhaps also one reason that, to this day, the church is not completed.

A remarkable museum also is located in the area.

This building is enormous and stands on a place which is also one of the meeting places for the Sardanas on Sunday.

The blue and purple metro leads to the stop "Sagrada Familia".
Opened from October until March from 09:00 to 18:00 hours, otherwise from 09:00 to 20:00 hours.
